Outcome

Per-session proctor engagement visibility with zero added UI for students.

What needed improvement

Before this, coverage was a vibes-based conversation. Instructors trusted a proctor was watching. Proctors ran on the honor system. There was no evidence to provide confidence that coverage was seamless and unavailable data on proctors device and network connection throughout the session.

The design solution

Living as an integrated surface inside LMS assessment sessions, provided an easily accessible place for instructors and administrators.

Living as an integrated surface inside LMS assessment sessions, provided an easily accessible place for instructors and administrators.

Embedded in the instructor’s existing review dashboard. Proctor identity is anonymized in analytics but resolvable when escalation is needed.
